Join me for a relaxed and festive two-hour painting session, where you’ll have the chance to experiment with a variety of materials and create your own festive still life paintings, a collection of hand-painted Christmas cards, or a little of both! I will help you to incorporate imaginative elements to your work, as well as breaking down the steps I would take to paint from life.

Working from a beautifully festive and visually inspiring still life set-up, these sessions are designed to be a fun and relaxing way to spend an evening, whether you’re catching up with friends, trying something creative or simply giving yourself a couple of hours to switch off and unwind within a beautifully curated setting.

I’ll break the painting process down into simple stages and offer plenty of guidance along the way, while still giving you the freedom to create something that feels completely your own. My aim is for everyone to leave with something they’re genuinely proud of!

Whether you paint regularly or haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years, the session is suitable for all abilities. I want to take away any pressure or fear around painting and encourage you to experiment, enjoy the process and have fun.

The workshop will run from 6–8pm, with a break halfway through to rest your hands and top up your glass!

Workshops take place at The Summerhouse Gallery, Marazion, Cornwall, TR17 0AR.

Parking bays in Marazion are free after 6pm, and there is also a car park approximately five minutes’ walk from the gallery.

All materials are provided, along with tea, coffee, soft drinks, wine and festive sweet treats. You’re also very welcome to bring along any other drinks or snacks you’d like to enjoy during the session.
